Hot Topic: Post-Pandemic Realities – Engagement, Operations & Safety

March 30, 2021 | 8:20 - 10:30 a.m.

As we seem to be turning a corner in the pandemic, new challenges are likely to appear as we continue to face existing realities.   This “Hot Topics” session will focus on several of these challenges, allowing member companies to compare notes and share ideas on employee engagement, health and safety, supply and demand chain pressures and volatility in various markets.  The central question here is “How are companies responding to and preparing for business as we emerge from the pandemic?”

We will be joined by guests Tom Wirbel of CPI-HR and Janet Kendall White, OD Consultant.  Tom will help us consider options for the role of the employer on vaccinations, testing and workplace safety, while Janet will facilitate the discussion on employee engagement.  We will have a general discussion on operational forecasting as supply chain issues – from raw material shortages to shipping slow-downs – ripple through the changing economic conditions.   You may have seen the plethora of articles sprouting up on this subject.

All functional leaders are invited to participate, with special emphasis on HR and Operations.

Professionally facilitated hot topic meetings have broad interest among most peer groups providing leaders with an opportunity to learn with and from leaders in their company and from other mid-size companies in Northeast Ohio facing similar challenges and opportunities. Exchanges are robust and attendees are challenged to bring at least two takeaways back to their organization that can be immediately applied.
