EDGE Rising Professionals is geared toward individual contributors. A carefully curated curriculum of eight professional-development half-day programs ensures that your earliest career professionals are prepared to make even greater contributions to your growing enterprise.

The purpose of the rising professionals group is to:
- Engage emerging leaders and rising talent at your company who represent the largest generation to hit the workforce since Baby Boomers.
- Provide the setting and framework to encourage and foster professional networking.
- Create opportunities for learning and experience sharing in a safe space with peers at other growth-oriented, high-performance EDGE members.
- Increase their capacity to contribute to their organizations.
- Help your company attract and retain this rising talent and, in the process, build your bench strength.

A carefully curated curriculum of eight professional-development half-day programs ensures that your earliest career leaders are prepared to make even greater contributions to the growing enterprises they work for:
- Your Professional Brand: Encourages these early-career professionals to develop self-awareness to create success in the workplace. How to present themselves and network internally and with customers and suppliers. How to handle their social media presence.
- Professional Networking: How to network in a variety of professional settings including company functions and professional settings including trade shows and other external events.
- Presentation Skills: Being Heard – How to speak with impact — Whether you are one-to-one or speaking to a group, getting your point across can be challenging. In this workshop we explore beliefs and obstacles as well as tips for confident communication. Attendees will participate in real-world exercises in order to build relevant skills.
- Crucial Conversations: How to develop the right words and tone for conversations of great importance.
- Getting to the Heart of Leadership: This session will explore 10 sources of power that, according to the research, will impact peoples’ position and value to any organization. A concept closely related to power is influence. Influence is at the heart of leadership and we will explore several influence tactics that will help you frame how you communicate your thoughts and perspectives.
- Leadership Panel: Hear from local business leaders as they share insights on their education and career paths, their current roles and responsibilities and what it means to be an effective leader today.
- Mastering Anxiety | Building Confidence Under Stress: This session explores ways to overcome anxiety in stressful situations. Participants will practice these easy-to-learn techniques that can be employed in any situation.
- Creating Success & Goal Setting: Based on the concepts and takeaways from the Rising Professionals workshops you will prepare and present your professional growth plan for the next 12+ months and have an opportunity to give and receive feedback from others in the group.
