EDGE Fellows Public Presentation & Reception

Come meet, support and engage with us for the 13th Annual EDGE Fellows Presentation & Reception on Wednesday, July 31st at 4:00 PM with leaders from area businesses, universities, mentors, and students. Graduate-level students from Case Western Reserve University and Kent State University will share what they have learned to drive new business growth for NEO companies through their research this summer.

What: Quick pitch presentations on new business opportunities for area companies

Finger food and refreshments 4:00 – 4:30 p.m.; Program/Presentations: 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. with reception to follow.

6 select graduate-level students (Class 2019)

Impact: 50+% of the projects studied over past 13 years have generated new revenue for NE Ohio.Nearly 70% of the students choose to stay and work in the area after graduation.

Market Studies Addressing: Solutions for helping consumers Skip-the-Line at restaurants; strategies for expanding regional business into Columbus market; opportunities for acoustic solutions.

Presenting Companies Include: Cres Cor, Regency Construction Services, and Surface Materials

About Program: The goal of the EDGE Fellows Program is to research the up-side potential for new business opportunities for area companies. Additionally, the program provides students with a truly unique consulting experience, connecting area companies with top talent from area universities and skilled business mentors. Started in 2007, the EDGE Fellows Program has explored 87 project ideas and several projects led to multi-million-dollar business ventures.
