InnoQuest | Food and Agriculture Drive Human Behavior

October 15, 2020 | 8:15 - 11:30 a.m.

Explore one of the bedrocks of our civilization and its incredible influence on commerce at Spice Acres Farm.

In past sessions, we have explored fundamental human behavior principals, and we have even looked at how major natural resources serve as drivers of innovation. In this session, we combine the two and look at How Food and Agriculture Drive Human Behavior. While we examine the vast food industry from farm-to-table to adjacencies like healthcare, machining, and packaging, we will also use the business case of Spice Acres to look at strategies for how organizations are pivoting during COVID.  We are excited to have nationally acclaimed Chef, Farmer and Founder Ben Bebenroth and others from his team lead us through the morning.

Optional: In addition to connecting with other innovation leaders, we will be participating in a farm tour (boots strongly recommended) and picking vegetables to incorporate into our lunch at the end for those that choose to stay.  (Not to be missed!) We plan to have stone-oven pizza, fresh roasted vegetables, and salad, and we invite you to stay to share your thoughts on InnoQuest topics for 2021.  We will honor social distancing and safe health practices throughout.

Managing innovation is critical to sustainable growth. InnoQuest creates a collaborative forum where Northeast Ohio innovation leaders can learn what can help their businesses grow today as well as how to take advantage of trends that are driving change.

In six bi-monthly sessions, participants gain:

  • Best practices in managing and guiding the innovation process
  • New working relations with peer companies & leading practitioners
  • Actionable steps to improve a company’s innovation practices.
