InnoQuest | De-Risking Innovation: Strategies to Increase Success Rates
One of the challenges of opening the floodgates of creativity and possibility is to decrease risks associated with limited time, money and people, not to mention finnicky markets, competing offerings and other pressures. How can innovation managers help their organizations decrease (or at least capitalize on) failure, while increasing the probability that new initiatives will result in new profits?
Our April session delves into the various strategies of de-risking innovation – from segregating off the R&D functions and connecting problem-solving with real market needs to looking through the lens of a hyped-up portfolio model to all the analytical tools at our disposal that help us improve our hit rates. There’s a surprise here: Part of removing risk actually lights a fire at the fuzzy front end to ensure steady flow of new opportunities, feeding back into the de-risking process!
See the 2021 Schedule, too.
In six bi-monthly sessions, participants gain:
- Best practices in managing and guiding the innovation process
- New working relations with peer companies & leading practitioners
- Actionable steps to improve a company’s innovation practices.
