EDGE Fellows Public Presentation Event
Join us for the EDGE Fellows Public Presentation Program at MAGNET in Cleveland when Fellows share the non-confidential results of their research efforts.

Each summer talented graduate-level students interested in business development (EDGE Fellows) are paired in cross-functional teams of two with the support of experienced mentors to help Northeast Ohio companies explore and validate new growth opportunities. Teams conduct primary and secondary market research in June and July and share a summary of their findings at this event. Host companies, mentors, past Fellows, family and friends as well as the general public are welcome to join!

Companies involved: Chemical Methods, Duramax Marine, Intellitronix, Kent Adhesives Company (KAPCO), & Packaging Tech.
Research Topics Addressed: ECommerce opportunities with specialty chemicals, addressable markets in Wastewater Treatment Plants, marine electronics applications, pathways to develop more sustainable packaging options, and applying best practices to help minority-owned business to thrive.

About Program: The goal of the EDGE Fellows Program is to research the up-side potential for new business opportunities for area companies. Additionally, the program provides students with a truly unique consulting experience, connecting area companies with top talent from area universities and skilled business mentors. Started in 2007, the EDGE Fellows Program has explored 103 project ideas and several projects led to multi-million-dollar business ventures.
