EDGE Fellows will share what they have learned through their research this summer to help Northeast Ohio companies drive new business growth during The 14th Annual Summer EDGE Fellows’ Presentation. This year’s Fellows are graduate-level students from Case Western Reserve University, The University of Akron, Kent State University and one student with ties to Northeast Ohio who attends SUNY Brockport.

Market Studies Addressing:

Reconditioned Batteries for Forklift Industry, Renewable Natural Gas Markets, Saw Blade Market and Cutting Tool Industry, Visual Guidance Systems for Robotics Serving Automotive and Healthcare, and Acquisition Targets in Healthcare Markets.

Participating Companies Include:

Evergreen Industrial Batteries, InsightFuel, Martindale Electric, Recognition Robotics, and STERIS Surgical Solutions.

Impact: Sparking profitable business growth for NE Ohio Businesses

· Nearly all companies act on at least some of the Fellows’ recommendations.

– 50+% of projects studied since 2007 have generated new revenue for NE Ohio.

– 60% of the students choose to stay and work in the area after graduation.
