IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things), sensor technology, data analytics, robots, Edge computing…all of these are being employed in growth organizations right now, and have implications in the manufacturing sector and beyond.   Driven by the talent crunch and decreasing cost of these technologies, organizations are making key decisions about how and what they are incorporating into their operations so they don’t get left behind.

EDGE member CEOs and Presidents will meet at Alloy Precision Technologies to see first-hand how a Cleveland-based manufacturing company uses these advanced machines.  Michael Canty, CEO, will share what he’s learned about all of this before giving us a plant tour, and veteran embedded systems integrator  Ed Yenni, President, LogiSync, will give a short presentation on the “State of the Industry” as it pertains to robotics, sensors, IIoT, etc.  Ed has presented to us in the past and was spot-on in his predications of where the industry is headed.  He is our go-to expert for looking at the manufacturing future.

Professionally facilitated CEO Roundtable meetings provide EDGE members with an opportunity to learn with and from leaders of other mid-size companies in Northeast Ohio facing similar challenges and opportunities in a trusting and confidential environment.
